Art and Culture Show with Sharinda Welton interviews UF’s own Dr. Robert Braylock (ep8)

Art and Culture Show interviews UF’s Dr. Robert Braylock, Pharm.D., RPh., Director, Intercultural Student Services at the UF Buford Center for Diversity and Service.

University of Findlay’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Week 2019 will incorporate diversity and community service with several public events meant to honor the late civil rights activist and his work.

The University’s free MLK Celebration will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 23 in the Winebrenner Building’s TLB Auditorium. Featured speakers will include alumna Ingrid Godfrey ’15, and students Sadia Akhter Aurna and Olunife Akinmolayan. The event will be live streamed on UFTV Productions’ YouTube page.

Adrian Carter Lecture

Adrian Carter is the author of Emerging as the Right Person in the Right Place at the Right Time. He is a Keynote Speaker, Conflict Resolution Practitioner and Leadership Development Trainer. Carter earned his BA in Mass Communications School of Journalism & Mass Communications. He received his Masters in Education, Leadership in Higher Learning.

Adrian has been impacting corporations, governmental entities and institutions of higher education, around the world, for over 16 years with his dynamic and progressive ability to lead, resolve conflict and create solutions. He’s been blessed to work in India, Sri Lanka and the Caribbean, to name a few.

As a Conflict Resolution Practitioner, International Poet and Leadership Development Coach, Adrian is committed to influencing people to become more caring, sharing and loving individuals who understand the importance of inclusive community building.

The Ellison Model is a multi-faceted leadership development tool focused on five content areas: Inclusion, Multicultural Appreciation, Conflict Resolution, Mentorship and Relationship Building. Training in these areas are designed to culturally revolve students, staff, faculty, corporate and government agencies into an inclusive community-building attitude that leads to “loving behaviors and affirming communication.”

Through his 3R Solution Leadership Success Trainings, which empowers every individual to be the right person, in the right place, at the right time, and The Ellison Model, developed by world-class sociologist and professor Dr. Deryl G. Hunt, Adrian travels the world teaching leaders “It’s not the problem that counts, it’s the solution.” Adrian N. Carter is the Solution Expert.
