Matt Shapiro, spirited, charismatic speaker and consultant

February 24, 2019 by Web Services

Matthew Shapiro is a spirited, charismatic speaker and consultant, born with cerebral palsy. He graduated in from Virginia Common Wealth University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, BA in Sociology and a minor in Psychology in 2013.

Matthew is the founder and CEO of 6 Wheels Consulting. He created and regularly hosts 6 Wheels Consulting Disability Podcasts.

When speaking, Matthew entertains and enlightens his audiences on how they can “become their own wrecking ball,” breaking free of their comfort zones and exceed their personal goals.

Matthew’s wheelchair was his safety net and leaving it caused him tremendous trepidation. He was not fully experiencing life. Through the persuasion a friend, he attended an event that changed his life FOREVER! He overcame his fears, placing his life in the hands of others. Now, he shares his secrets and strategies, allowing audiences to incorporate his messages into their own lives, breaking free from whatever “chair” is holding them back! His messages have won him the accolades of many. He was named Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40, profiled in Virginia Business Magazine and served the Obama Administration in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs.
