Dave Hanson, viola, is the retired Director of the Findlay City Schools orchestra program where he taught for 35 years. He was also a professor of string methods, double bass, and classical guitar at Heidelberg University for 41 years. His primary instrument is the double bass on which he has performed with the Toledo and Lima Symphony Orchestras.

The University of Findlay Orchestra Concert
The University of Findlay Orchestra will play beautiful melodies from symphonies composed by Beethoven, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and Mahler. These composers expressed the power and beauty of nature through the texture of the music, variety of musical characters, and contrast of awakening nature and the dark side of the world through their symphonies. The orchestra will be under the direction of Dr. Soojin Lee, orchestra conductor of the University of Findlay.
